Another Antique Hunt

This summer, it seems that weekends home are few and far between, usually how I like it. I have planned many (maybe too many?) weekends to be up north, as I try to be lakeside whenever possible. On the occasion that I am around, I have embraced the city life and all things around me, like enjoying Hamilton's Bay Front Park for a picnic.

And one weekend, Nick and I decided we would go antique hunting. We aren't looking for anything specific, though I could make a list a mile long of things I would like. We wanted to trek out for the adventure and hopes in finding something different (and affordable). My small house can only contain so many things, so I have to be very picky about what I bring home. Nick generally looks for art and hand carving tools for his furniture craft.

Here is what caught my eye at Clappison Corners Antiques...

An older take on a bar cart. Has extra storage and
display capabilities.

With mint being such a hot colour, this Hamilton Beach Mixer
would look great on a shelf in the kitchen.

Now this is just funky! It would be amazing show piece in a larger home.

Original Singer Sewing machine table. An interesting piece
anywhere in the home.
